In 2023 Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Awards $41,500 in Scholarships!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2023-2024 AWARDEES

  

This year, the Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation awarded 21 scholarships totaling $41,500 to local high school graduates and students renewing their Foundation scholarships:


  • The Victor “Red” Rutherford Scholarship: Ashley Bybee graduated from Kamiakin High and is going to BYU-Idaho to pursue a Physical Therapy degree.
  • The Donald Anderson Scholarship: Genevieve Parker graduated from Kamiakin High and is going to Brigham Young University to pursue a Medical degree in Endocrinology.
  • The George J. Jones Scholarship: Maxwell Steele graduated from Southridge High and is going to the University of Washington to pursue a Computer Science degree.
  • The Henry Sauer Scholarship: Meredith Winiarski is continuing at the University of Washington pursuing an Engineering degree.
  • The Walteen Corson Scholarship: Lauren Bell is continuing at Columbia Basin College pursuing a Dental Hygiene degree.
  • The Art Carson Scholarship: Meigan Crowder is continuing at the University of Washington pursuing a Biology/Dental degree.
  • The Joan Rude Scholarship: Zugehilee Angel-Centeno is continuing at the University of Washington pursuing a Nursing degree.
  • The Rick Corson Scholarship: Josephine Ruesch is continuing at WSU Tri-Cities pursuing a Biology degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship:  Melanie Petersen is continuing at Whitworth University pursuing an Elementary Education degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Hailey Dreier is continuing at Edmonds College pursuing a General Studies degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Wendy Sanchez is continuing at the University of Washington pursuing a Biology/Physiology degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Karlie Logan graduated from Southridge High and is going to Oregon State University to pursue an Engineering degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Skyln Munson is continuing at Columbia Basin College pursuing a Sports and Physical Therapy degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Kanyon Gardner graduated from Southridge High School and is going to the University of Wyoming to pursue an Engineering degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Vanessa Anguiano graduated from Kamiakin High School and is going to the Washington State University to pursue a Nursing degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Yolia Sanchez graduated from Kamiakin High School and is going to Columbia Basin College to pursue a Forensic Pathology or Culinary Arts degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Elizabeth Robledo graduated from Kennewick High School and is going to Western Washington University to pursue a Biology degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Anna Cooper graduated from River View High School and is going to the University of Idaho to pursue an Agriculture Teaching degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Zachary Landon graduated from Southridge High School and is going to Grand Canyon University to pursue an Accounting degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Nicholas Landon graduated from Southridge High School and is going to Grand Canyon University to pursue an Engineering degree.
  • The Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship: Joelie Eder graduated from Kamiakin High School and is going to Lower Columbia College to pursue a Business Marketing degree.
