Wayne & Maureen Bell spent much of their careers as educators in the Kennewick School District. Both are very active in the Kiwanis Club of Kennewick. Maureen is Club Secretary and also serves on the Foundation Board. Plus, was named 2015 Kennewick Woman of the Year. Wayne was past Club President (twice) and named 2022 Kennewick Man of the Year.

The Joan Rude scholarship established in her memory by Pete Rude, member of the Kiwanis Club of Kennewick. This scholarship is targeted for students pursuing a career in healthcare.
Henry Sauer is the father of Kiwanis Club of Kennewick longtime member Hank Sauer. Both, father and son, pictured here in early 50's.
Bob Woehler a past Kennewick Man of the Year, a past Lt. Governor of Kiwanis, Kiwanis Hixson Award winner, a 40+ year member of the Kiwanis Club of Kennewick.
Edith Winkler is the mother of Janet Reiboldt and the mother-in-law of longtime Kiwanis Club of Kennewick member Glen Reiboldt. Ms. Winkler is remembered for being a longtime teacher and educator.
Other community leaders that have been honored by the Kennewick Kiwanis Foundation with single year scholarships include: Glynn Wheeler, Doug Holle, Duane Pepiot, Jim French, Joseph Osborne, Leland Haberling and Dean Strawn with scholarships awarded to students in their names.
